Another Good Night For Moths

It has taken awhile to recover from the impressive haul of moths I trapped on the 25 Jun 26. And as much as I enjoyed ID'ing them all, it took a lot of time to finalise the numbers and species caught.

So with a bit of apprehension I put the trap out last night and had a decent number of moths, but not as overwhelming as before.

So what were the numbers, well I trapped 148+ moths of 65 species, with 21 firsts for the year and 9 lifers.
