Unplanned trip to Eivissa (Ibiza)
It was a day of confusion for me. The plan was to catch the number 12 bus to Santa Eulalia, but somehow we managed to board the number 2 bus. What I hadn't realised, was that both buses left Cala Llonga at virtually the same time from the same bus stop outside the Maddison Bar.
So instead of a day out in Santa Eulalia we ended up in Eivissa (Ibiza). Unfortunately we were completely lost when we arrived and sadly ended up in the wrong half of the capital with our only highlight, of our unplanned visit, being the Parc de la Pau.
After a whistle-stop tour of the city we caught the bus back to Cala Llonga.
We did at least manage to see 4 Cattle Egret, a Green Sandpiper and several Terrapin on our journey, plus an Emperor Dragonfly Anax imperator and several Red Veined Darters Sympetrum fonscolombii
The pool in the Parc de la Pau, Ibiza. In English Parc de la Pau translates as Park of the Peace.
On the island possibly a Red-eared slider Trachemys scripta elegans. An introduced terrapin to the pool.
A male Red Veined Darter Sympetrum fonscolombii
Argentine Saguaro Leucostele terscheckii with four.............

A Yellow Tropical Hibiscus Hibiscus rosa-sinensis
Along the shoreline the recent storms out in the Mediterranean have brought in rafts of seaweed.
